LASH CARE

Prior to coming to your appointment

  • Please ensure you come with squeaky clean lashes!

  • Absolutely no eye makeup or oil based facial products around your eyes

  • Clean lashes equals more time for lashing and better retention of lashes

  • Do not wear contact lenses, they may cause irritation to your eyes

  • If you are UNDER 18 years of age, please bring a parent or guardian to sign consent forms

Aftercare Instructions

Do Not's:

  • Get lashes wet for the first 24 hours

  • Go to the pool, sauna, gym. Adhesive needs 24-48 hours to fully cure. Any moisture will reduce retention of eyelash extensions.

  • Use oil-based eye products & creams

  • Use mascara; extremely hard to clean, it will ruin the fluff, tugs on the extensions and may pull out natural lashes

  • Perm, tint or use an eyelash curler

  • Pull on your extension or excessively rub your eyes

  • Constantly touching your lashes, oils on your hand will transfer

  • Sleep on face/stomach; constant pressure will cause premature shed

Do's:

  • Use only water-based makeup & makeup remover

  • Gently remove makeup around the eye using a cotton swab

  • Oil free cleanser to wash your lashes daily; premature shedding is caused by oil and residue buildup. (We sell lash cleansers as well!)

  • Pat dry after cleansing/getting lashes wet or blow dry on very low-cool setting

  • Clean lashes equals better retention

  • Brush your lashes daily, however not to close to the base

  • To keep your lashes looking full, please schedule fills in advance every 2-3 weeks

**Please contact us if you require a removal. A trained technician will safely remove your eyelash extensions without causing any damage to your natural lashes. Do not pull on your extensions in an attempt to remove them on your own!

Allergies

Although allergies to lash extensions are rare, it does occur and can happen to anyone at anytime. A person may have a reaction to the products that are used during the process. From the gel pads, tapes, adhesives, liquids, primers, or even the artificial lash itself. An allergy or sensitivity can occur at any stage, whether you have been getting them for years and just started to develop a sensitivity or having an allergy right off the bat!

Irritation or allergy?

Please note that there is a difference between having a slight irritation to having an allergy to the products used. Irritation may be caused by the eye pads or tape being placed too close or opening your eyes during the procedure; the fumes from the glue will irritate your eyes. In these cases a bit of redness and sensitivity may occur. This irritation will generally subside within 24 hours to a couple days. An allergy is when both eyes are having a reaction where itchiness, redness, and or swelling is present. Whereas an irritation will not have these symptoms.

In the event of an allergy

If you are having an allergic reaction to the eyelash extensions, you must have them removed. We know that it may be heartbreaking, however you will not feel relief until they are taken off. Please contact us immediately and we will get you in the same day to do a full removal of your eyelash extensions. Upon removal you will generally feel immediate relief and it may take a couple days to feel completely back to normal. In no instances should you try to remove your extensions on your own. In the case of an allergy we will not charge for a removal, please contact us and a trained technician will properly remove your lashes without causing further irritation or damage to your natural lashes.
